Busking

Busking is the grande olde art of street performance!

 

I began busking on Bleeker Street in Greenwhich Village at the age of 20 cuz I was short on rent, and it changed my life.

 

There's a freedom in street performance that you don't always get inside a venue: you can be exactly the artist you want, and there are no rules except those of human decency.

 

I've met the most wonderful people, and had the wildest adventures and lucrative opportunities simply by popping up and singing on the street.
